Day 87
Today was Will's second Husky football viewing party. Will was NOT pleased with the ridiculous excessive celebration call on Jake Locker.

Day 86
In this picture, Will looks like he's enjoying tummy time far more than he actually was.

"This is what I think of your stupid tummy time, Mom!"

"Playtime is very, very serious business."

"Okay, okay, FINE Mom. Playtime is hilarious! LOOK I'M SMILING A BIG HUGE SMILE!"

"So back to not smiling. I'd rather do that for awhile."

"Hey, speaking of playtime, where's that blue bear? I like that blue bear."

"Hey, speaking of that blue bear, did you know that he's delicious?"

"Oh hey George, what's up?"

(Some of these pictures are blurry on account of Laurel not wanting to use the flash on the camera and also not wanting to bother getting the tripod out.)

Day 85
Will's new trick is licking shoulders. Laurel tried to catch him licking Lorne's shoulder before bed tonight, but he stopped every time he saw the camera.

You can, however, see his drool spot on Lorne's shirt in this picture.

Also, holy crap, Will is getting big. This may be the last time he wears his dino pajamas, as they're getting to be too short and tight.

Day 84
Will is really starting to like reading. When he's in the right mood for a book, he smiles and laughs at them. It's pretty exciting for his book nerd parents. His current favorites are:

Today he gave us both big grins when we said, "Hey you, want to fight?", the repeated line in The Grouchy Ladybug.

Day 83
Dear Will,
Today is the day I'd been dreading since I found out you were coming into this world. Today is the day I went back to work. Everyone said nice things to me about having me back and missing me while I was gone, but I didn't have any nice things to say about being back. I couldn't bring myself to lie to them, so I tried to smile. I told one person that it was hard, and I had to excuse myself to go to the bathroom so I didn't cry in front of her.

Coming home to see your face, whether you're smiling and happy or upset or sleepy, seeing you makes everything all better.

I just want you to know that I spend most of the time I'm at work thinking about you, wondering what you and your dad are doing, wondering if your brain has developed enough to miss me, or at least wonder where that lady that feeds you sometimes went.
Love,
Mommy
