On Sunday, we took the kids to Disneyland for the first time. Massive amounts of pictures were taken.
Will is speechless upon meeting Minnie Mouse.
Evie was skeptical about this whole "waiting in lines" thing.
Ohhhh, that's what you wait in line for. The Finding Nemo ride.
Will's first ride.
Will and Lorne on the cars ride.
Here we are with lots of other tourists.
Will on the carousel.
Will meets Mickey Mouse.
Evie blew raspberries at the Small World ride.
YAWN
Will passes out.
We had a great time at Disneyland. It's totally cliche to say, but the best part is seeing how excited the kids got. Mostly Will, but even Evie was excited on the Small World ride (despite her raspberries) and the Finding Nemo ride. Will was so tired by the end of the day that while he sat on Lorne's lap during the fireworks, his entire body shook every time he yawned, which was like, every three seconds. Then he completely passed out as soon as the fireworks ended. He said something like, "Daddy, I shouldn't walk." And then fell asleep. I think that's a sign of a successful Disneyland trip.
On Monday, we were all worn out from Disney.
On Tuesday, Evie wanted to say hello to you.
And also peekaboo.
Will says ditto.
On Wednesday, surely something happened, but we don't know what.
On Thursday, Laurel went to Boston for a work conference.
On Friday, Laurel went out with some friends that live in Boston. (After going to her conference all day, of course.)
Grant and Kyle and Brian also happened to be in Boston. Grant ate one nacho.
Brian was on the Freedom Trail.
We did the touristy thing and had a beer at the original Cheers bar. Some other tourist totally photobombed us.
On Saturday, Will got a haircut.
Now he looks about 30, instead of 2.
Meanwhile, in Boston, Brian got some cannoli.
